Metal Fabricator
We are looking for an experienced fabricator to join our team at Fraserview Fabrication and Machining Inc. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with overtime available.
Duties & Responsibilities
- -Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- -Weld mild steel based on drawings and documents provided.
- -Layout, fabricate, cut, bend, notch, punch, and drill steel when required.
- -Assemble components when required.
- -Maintain accuracy
- -Welding and fabricating
- -Operate machinery
- -Operate forklift
- -Operate overhead crane
- -Practice project-specific QA/QC procedures
- -Pro-active
- -Reliable
- -Comply with the company's health and safety policy.
Skills and requirements
- -Experience with fabricating machinery, columns, beams, staircases, railings, and platforms
- -Experience following detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- -Ability to speak, read, and write English
- -Must be reliable, have a good attitude, and be a team player.
- -Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- -Ability to operate ironworkers, drill presses, and band saws.
- -Able to lift 50 pounds
- -Strong and efficient communication skills. Attention to detail
- -Must have a valid driver's license.
- -Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- - Mechanically inclined to work safely with hand tools and power tools
Compensation
- Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Extended medical and dental health plan after 3 months of employment.

CWB Welder
We are looking for an experienced welder to join our team at Fraserview Fabrication and Machining Inc. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
Duties & Responsibilities
- -Work alongside other members of the welding team, made up of journeymen and apprentices.
- -Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, documents, and welding process specifications.
- -Layout, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications using a straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler.
- -Tack weld or weld components and assemblies using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
- -Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- -Solve problems to keep production flowing on site.
- -Comply with the company's health and safety policy.
- -Practice project-specific QA/QC procedures.
- -Performs other duties as required.
- -Operate forklift
- -Operate overhead cranes.

- - SMAW CWB Valid all positions
- - MCAW, CWB Valid Flat and Horizontal
Compensation: 20.00 to 36.00 per hour depending on experience
